Searching and sniffing treats will take your dog a long time and will provide them with a huge dose of mental work.
How does it work?
- Hide your dog’s favourite treats between the fleece stripes or pockets of the Sniffers.
- Give Sniffers to your dog – their task is to find treats and eat them
- If your dog gives up quickly, put treats on the top of the stripes.
- If your dog is good at sniffing and finding snacks, hide treats deeper or wrap them in fleece strips.
How to choose the right toy for your dog?
Each dog is different & has various preferences. Some would eat the food together with their bowl in 5 seconds. They frustrate easily & have little patience with food. Occasionally bite in the sniffing toy is fine, but as soon as they try destroying or shaking it, it is a sign of stress. Other dogs lick the spilled yoghurt from the floor patiently for ages. However, as soon as you give them filled Kong, they loose interest. Many dogs will spend more than 30 minutes with the toys & think how to get to the treatos patiently. You know your dog the best! Use our guide & choose the right toy to give them a relaxing activity, not causing frustration.
